Plamil Egg Free Mayo Recipes

3

The wonderful people at Plamil sent me a selection of their tasty products. Since turning Vegan I cut out Mayo straight away & never really replaced it, I would sometimes have Tesco’s Own Free From Salad Cream as my boyfriend is a big fan.

I was shocked when I realised Plamil not only made their lovely chocolates, they also were the maker of Egg Free. They have to be good right? I had tried their normal Egg Free Mayo when at friends houses – however I was really excited to taste their full range (especially the Lemongrass Mayo)

Here are a few recipes.

Spicy Corn on the Cob

COTC

(Makes 2 sides.)

Ingredients

2 Corn on the Cobs

Plamil Mayo with Chilli

Salt & Pepper

Method

Pre heat grill.

Put boiling water into a large sauce pan, but Corn into the boiling water, making sure they are covered. Leave to boil for 5 minutes. Then poke with a fork, if sweetcorns are soft it is cooked.

Drain corn, then cover in cold water, leave for 2 minutes or until the corn is easy to handle (do not burn yourself)

Cover each corn in 2-3 teaspoons of Plamil Mayo with Chilli & put on a tray & cook under the grill, turning to make sure each side turns golden brown.

Sweet Potato & Carrot Mash infused with Tarragon & Chive Egg Free Mayo
